Colourant Cream typically includes:
Mineral oil, water, ethanolamine (ammonia alternative), surfactants (Steareth-20/2), and key aromatic amines / phenols like toluene-2,5-diamine, p‑aminophenol, 2,3-diaminodihydro‑ pyrazolopyrazolone, 5‑amino‑6‑chloro‑o‑cresol, resorcinol derivatives
Enriched with sunflower, meadowfoam, camellia, passionflower oils and tocopherol (vitamin E) for conditioning
Developer Cream contains hydrogen peroxide, mineral/paraffin oils, cetearyl alcohol, PEG‑4 rape‑seedamide, tocopherol, and acids/buffers .
Conditioner includes cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, sunflower/camellia oil, coconut oil, amodimethicone, and fragrance .
Strong sensitizers present: PPD-type amines (e.g., toluene-2,5-diamine), resorcinol – known causes of allergic contact dermatitis
Developer side: hydrogen peroxide may irritate scalp and eyes
Patch test required: 48-hour skin test is mandatory before use
Non-ammonia but contains ethanolamine, a different irritant that can also cause reactions
