Crafted at the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, South Africa, Bain’s Cape Mountain Single Grain Whisky is a premium spirit made from 100% locally sourced yellow maize. This distinctive whisky undergoes a unique double maturation process: first in first-fill bourbon casks for three years, followed by a further 18 to 30 months in fresh first-fill bourbon casks. This method imparts a rich, smooth character that sets it apart from other grain whiskies.
Nose: Aromatic notes of vanilla, toffee, and floral hints, complemented by subtle oak and spice.
Palate: A creamy texture with flavours of honey, toasted hazelnuts, and a touch of cocoa butter, leading to a warm, sweet finish.
Finish: Long and exceptionally smooth, with lingering notes of vanilla and spice.
